# Hangsight

> Hangsight: Wall Art Visualizer is a Shopify app for stores selling prints, posters, canvases and framed art. Shoppers preview the exact artwork on their own wall at the selected variant’s real size.

## Key facts

- Shopper flow: open “See it on your wall” on a product page; take or upload a room photo, or try a sample room. Mark the FOUR CORNERS of a known-size reference on the same wall: A4 or US Letter paper, a door (starts at 203 × 80 cm, editable), a measured wall section, or something else with a known width and/or height. “Skip” gives a visual impression only; size is not calibrated.
- Shoppers drag the artwork into position and switch between the store’s sizes, frames and mats. The preview labels the scale “true size”, “approximate size” or “size not calibrated”, and shows a ruler check. Shoppers can save the preview image and add the selected variant to the cart.
- Artwork: the product’s exact image pixels are placed on the wall and never redrawn. Frame, mat, soft shadow and brightness matched to the photo complete the preview.
- Sizes: read from variant options, variant titles or a size metafield. Supports centimetres, millimetres, inches, ISO A sizes and width × height with x, ×, spaces or no spaces, such as “30x40 cm”, “18 x 24 in”, “A3” and “50×70”. Unresolved labels such as “Large” are listed for the merchant to map to real dimensions. Per-product overrides are available.
- Setup: install from the Shopify App Store; add the “Wall preview” app block to the product template in an Online Store 2.0 theme. The button has its own row and can be dragged within its section. Choose products, run the size check, map frames and mats to real product options, and choose sample rooms. No code.
- Privacy: the standard preview runs on the shopper’s device without uploading the photo. If the browser cannot decode HEIC, a notice asks first; continuing converts it on the server in memory only, without storing it. No shopper accounts, no cookies for the preview, and no advertising tracking. “Remember this room” is opt-in and keeps a reduced copy in that browser for up to 7 days. Only aggregate daily counts are stored, with no shopper identifiers.
- Languages: English and Arabic in the storefront preview and merchant admin, including right-to-left layout.
- Speed: one small product-page button script, about 3 KB. Viewer code loads only when the preview is opened.
- Free: up to 3 enabled products, a small attribution mark in the preview, and no preview cap.
- Pro: $19.99 every 30 days, 7-day free trial, unlimited products, no attribution mark, and preview analytics. Billed through Shopify. No usage charges.
